Case Study Context
Section titled “Case Study Context”GrowthPath, an Edinburgh-based consultancy, is drowning in document chaos. Six weeks after “The Great Document Disaster” (sending the wrong strategy deck to a client), the team has decided to transform their operations using Claude Code.
Flora McCombie spent her entire Friday evening searching for the latest client onboarding pack. Three different versions exist across email, Google Drive, and someone’s desktop. Nobody knows which is current.
The irony isn’t lost on anyone: they’re advising clients on efficiency whilst their own document management is a complete shambles.
What You’ll Accomplish
Section titled “What You’ll Accomplish”By the end of this module, you’ll be able to:
- Communicate naturally with Claude Code using plain English conversation
- Build a PARA-based folder structure (Projects, Areas, Resources, Archives)
- Create specialised project templates for different work types
- Design reusable document templates for recurring needs
- Implement a metadata system with YAML frontmatter and consistent tagging
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”None. This is where your Claude Code journey begins.
What’s Next
Section titled “What’s Next”In Module 2, you’ll put your new knowledge vault to work by processing 6 months of accumulated chaos - Word documents, PowerPoints, spreadsheets, and more - all in preparation for a critical investor meeting.
To begin this module, run /CC.m1.lb1 to launch the first lab.
